When booking the farm for overnights, do you get all 3 huts/pods?
With an overnight stay, you get the 15 acre farm, access to all 3 huts/pods, all foraging edible plants growing, eggs from the chicken coop and the bathhouse.
That is 2 sleeping quarters (Red and Yellow hut/pod) and 1 kitchen area (Green hut/pod)
Rates for overnight stays?
$250 for 4 guests + $25 per additional person up to 4 (8 total occupancy)
What are the sleeping accommodations?
We have 2 sleeping huts/pods and 1 kitchen/gathering hut/pod. Our Red Hut is the larger of the 2 sleeping quarters, with 1 queen Murphy bed and 2 twin beds. Our Yellow Hut is a bit smaller with 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed and 1 twin mattress/pop-up bed. Max occupancy is 8.
Do we provide food or do you bring your own?
We only provide what you can pick on the farm. We encourage everyone to gather their own eggs and snack on blueberries, blackberries or any vegetables ripe in the veggie garden. Other than that, food is on your own. Our Green Hut does have a convection oven, double hot plate, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffee pot and washing station. We do provide pots and pans and utensils.
Is there running water and electricity at the Huts/Pods?
There is electricity but there is no running water. We have a 1 and a half bathhouse located at the front of the farm where you can get water, shower and even do laundry.
Are pets allowed?
We have a no pet policy. This is for the safety of your pet as well as all animals living on our farm.
Are foraging farm tours included in the overnight stays?
Yes, you can let us know when you would like to get a walk through of the farm and we will try to accommodate your request as best we can.
What is the maximum capacity?
Red hut can sleep 4 and Yellow hut can sleep 4. Total of 8
When you book for an overnight, will there be other guest?
No. One advantage of our farm is that with the 3 huts and 15 acres, this ensures you are the only group to be on the farm during your booking time. This includes no additional overnight guest and no public farm tours while you are staying with us.
Will there always be something to forage/eat?
Like all natural environments we let our plants speak for themselves. Everything on are farm is available to graze on depending on season, forest animals and our chicken’s mood, lol.
How long do you have for a farm tour?
2 hours, first hour is guided and the second hour is for you and your group to explore all 15 acres of our farm.
Are tours scheduled?
Yes, tours are by appointment only. We have available dates on our website (forage menu) updated often. Our hours are 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
Is there a max number for people during a tour?
Yes, 15 max. This includes adults and kids. Children 4 and under and in carrier are free and do not count towards total number.
Is there a minimum for people on a tour?
Yes, 4 minimum. This is 4 paying customers.
Will there be other people on the farm tour?
Private upon request, we will not double book a tour.
